Wide leg pants
Wide leg pants do not suit everybody’s personality and may be because of this it never became a dominant style among the masses. While they seem to be a fashion trend for spring/summer 2011, its lack of popularity among the masses is not expected to change overnight. Flares are going to rule the roost this year and since wide leg pants have enough flares, they are going to be in trend this year. Skinny pants would continue to be in trend as far as leather pants are concerned.
Capri pants
While skinny pant cuts have been dominating the fashion landscape from quite a while, there have been other styles emerging in the fashion world. For spring/summer 2011, the slim-cut cropped pant is gaining the heat. These pants many not necessarily are skin tight. They can give you several different, trendy looks.
High dress splits trend
Tanned, well-tones, bare legs are the in-thing this summer. Maxi dresses in light and flowing fabrics or long slit maxi dresses exposing your well-toned legs while you walk. The slit runs up to the top of the thigh, giving out more than a hint of leg. Whether you wear a single side split, dual side splits or a center split, you would definitely create a striking style statement. These dresses are breezy, sensual and free flowing. To keep your sexy look intact, do not wear these dresses with flat shoes. Wear it with stilettos or skyscraper heels.
Stripes
In 2010, the infatuation with military fashion was influenced by air force and army styling. But with the wind up of this trend, new influences are seen in spring 2011. For fashion conscious women who have a penchant for marine, spring 2011 has great things in store. The navy and white color palette, meaning stripes are going to rule the fashion world this spring/summer 2011.
